Ok, Christmas is making things difficult. I can't post any of the stuff I've been working on because someone might know what they are recieving!! But I did finish an item for my mother-in-law last week, and something for my aunt. I'm also in full swing on a project for my mom. And of course...I'm still working on the coasters, but luckily I think I'll be done with them by thanksgiving to hand them off to my mom. I have 11 done and 2 more to go (she requested another set since I last posted). Once I finish the other 2 I'll post more pics.

Coasters, coasters, and more coasters!
Here are 5 of the 12 sets of coasters I am making for my mom. No - she isn't going to USE all 12 sets! :) She asked me to make them so she can give them to some of her coworkers for christmas presents. It seemed like a lot when she asked me to do it, but they go really quickly and they are great projects to take in the car.
And here is a close up of one set.

Cashcotton Scarf
I found a LYS recently and I fell in love...all the wonderful colors and textures!! My hubby convinced me I should buy some really nice yarn and make something for myself. It didn't take much convincing :) So I bought 4 balls of Classic Yarns - Cashcotton DK. It is SO soft and wonderful - it contains cotton, angora, & cashmere. I made myself this scarf and since it only took 2 balls, I'm going to make a hat to go with it.

I made this blanket for my niece...It took SOOO long to complete - it is all single crochet and two layers since it is strips weaved together. I'm never using that pattern again!! But it is my first baby blanket, and I've gotten a little better at figuring out how difficult a pattern will be, so I wont attempt something like this when I have such a short amount of time to complete it!!

My first piece of clothing!

I completed the shrug. It the first clothing that I've done. It doesn't fit as nicely as I'd have liked, it is a little big in the front, but it did turn out better than I expected. I used Caron One Pounder, so it doesn't feel really nice, but it was the only thing in my stash that was available and I was sure I had enough of to complete the project. I've heard arylic softens up some after washing it though - hope that works!

Gram's Afghan
This is the first afghan I've made. I gave it to my grandmother for her birthday in May. I wanted to make sure she received the first major project I did since she was the one that taught me how to crochet. I was really happy with how the colors turned out.

I'll probably be posting some old pictures along now because most of the stuff I'm working on now is for christmas, so I'll have to wait until after that to post the presnts!!
