My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 10, but, while I enjoyed crocheting I had NO interest in doilies. I tried off and on for a few months and then put it down and didn't touch a hook again for years. I picked it up again about a year ago and have been obsessed since! I found a whole new world of crochet - yarn!! I've made blankets, scarves, hats, amigurumi (crocheted dolls) since then.
